Summer of Hiking

935693_611788774608_282897477_nBy this time last year, I had gotten a lot of hiking in. Largely due to the fact that winter went straight to summer, bypassing spring, and this happened in March. This weekend, it snowed.

On the Canadian long weekend, we headed to the Adirondacks for a hiking/camping weekend, and I got my first 3 climbs of the season in. And wow, am I out of shape. As in, in worse shape than when I was climbing Mt Sutton with severe mono. Cardio=0.

So, I’ve decided that the best way to remedy that is to hike 25 mountains before snow comes this fall.

So far, I’ve got:

1-Mt Panther (Tupper Lake, NY)

2- Mt Baker (Saranac Lake, NY)

3- Coon Mountain (Westport, NY)
