Normally, I’m not a big fan of hiking up ski trails or multipurpose trails. I prefer to stick to trails in the woods. But, every Thanksgiving weekend, I make an exception, and hike Owl’s Head ski hill in Mansonville, Quebec. They have an annual Autumn Fest that runs the Thanksgiving weekend and the two weekends prior, where there’s food, music, and the lifts are running. (No, I did NOT take the chairlift up or down). The dogs enjoyed it, being one of the few dog friendly places for hiking in the area. They even got to swim in the snowmaking reservoir. I do love the view of my old workplace, Lake Memphremagog (I miss that lake!)
